Route Description
Beginning from the Paris start pens, you will ride the standard lead-in around the Jardin des Tuileries on the east end of the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, heading up the Champs and through the lap banner, which is the route’s official start and finish line.
From there, you’ll travel up the Champs through the Lutece Sprint and around the Arc de Triomphe (in an unexpected clockwise direction) before descending the Champs and turning left before the Jardin des Tuileries loop to head toward the Madeleine.
Past the Madeleine, hit the Église Sprint, then turn right to head out to the Montmartre KOM. Give it a hard go, then recover on the descent before hitting the Tchou Tchou Sprint and turning left to come past the Madeleine again on your way to the lap banner on the Champs. You’re halfway there!
Up the Champs again, through the Lutece Sprint once more, then it’s a right turn at the Arc de Triomphe to head toward Parc Monceau and the Monceau Sprint. Continue on to another effort up the Montmartre, where you’re rewarded with a nice panorama of Paris at the top before the descent to the Tchou Tchou Sprint.
Continue past Parc Monceau in the other direction, get back on the Champs, descend to the Jardin des Tuileries to complete this short loop (the only Paris road we haven’t covered yet), then head up to the lap banner to finish the route.
