SISU Racing announced two exciting race series last week which are worthy of a special mention due to their innovative formats. Separate 5-stage Men’s/Mixed and 3-stage Femmes (women’s) series will be replicating classic 2022 Tour de France (TDF) stages in Zwift at the same time as the world’s top pros are fighting it out in the IRL races!
The Big Idea
SISU Racing le Tour Men’s/Mixed includes a Grand Depart group ride through the French countryside and five race stages, including an ITT on Stage 1, Alpe du Zwift on Stage 4, and the iconic finish on the Champs-Elysées on Stage 5.
SISU Racing le Tour Femmes is a three-stage series, with Stage 1 on the Champs-Elysées, Stage 2 through the champagne countryside of Douce France, and finishing with the Queen Stage, a mountain top finish on the La Reine course in France.

Is Grand depart mandatory as stage?
Nah. It’s just a group ride, not a race, so no points attached.
Race Rules & Information
The Grand Depart is a fun ride with no timed results.
For stage races, riders enter according to Zwift’s new category enforcement rules – you will need a connected Zwift Power profile. Enter as an individual rider or bring along your team; team size is not limited.
Each rider’s best time from each stage will be the time used to calculate the total elapsed time for GC rankings. In addition, GC results will be available by grade (A, B, C, D) for riders who race all five stages. Riders can race in any time slot across the series. Riders upgraded during the tour will compete for GC honours in their new grade.
Heart rate data must be available to be included in the final GC results, but does not exclude you from racing the series. Z power riders will be removed from the results.
There are no time or point bonuses for any sprint and KQOM segments; they do, however, present an opportunity to go for a PB! Of course, there can always be bragging rights!
A league in Zwift Power will be created and provide provisional results after each stage. SISU Racing will provide the final GC results after the tour, having made any necessary exclusions.
Do you know already if we are going to have staggered starts, other cats visible, etc? Would be great to have a mixed start with everybody together!
How about for the iTT? Is that a mass start or individual start times?
Nice artwork with those maps 🙂
Thank you 🙏
Looks like a great event to get pumped for the Tour.
Is there a typo in the graphic? Lava or Lave?
Love your attention to detail! We’ll correct that to Lava – thank you. You get a one minute head start haha.
Any jersey unlocks?
Is there GC results now or only at the end?
Found it in Zwiftpower league section
