This sets up just like a Wahoo Kickr Bike or Tacx Neo Bike right?
I’ve got a Kickr Bike right now but if I ever needed to replace it I’d really like to know how this setup compares.

Any ideas about future availability and pricing of the frame only option given that a lot of us already have a compatible trainer?
Frame only option is coming in the fall, Zwift says. They aren’t saying what the price will be yet.
Just purchased the set-up. It no longer does but initially it showed the prices of the KICKR CORE, Frame and Handlebars separately at check-out. EUR 499.99, EUR 480 and EUR 320 resp., if I remember correctly. Edit: A shame the tablet holder was sold-out when I ordered, minutes after sales opened, by the way.

Any idea if they will release the controllers separately?

There’s room for clip ons if you remove the optional plastic upper tray or go wider than this tray.
Reviews say that putting on aerobars isn’t a problem.

Wow, they are really screwing Canada.
1300 USD in CAD = 1780. So Canadian price is 220 more. And then shipping is more than double! Canadian taxes are added on top of that, so this doesn’t seem like it’s to adjust for any kind of local tax or something. There’ll be a “black market” of buying this in the US and then shipping it over the border for significant savings.
The price of the Wahoo tracker heart rate monitor that they just released is priced fairly converting USD to CAD, so they can do it!

The specs list a max grade of 16%, I thought maybe this meant that it simulated the incline, but I don’t see that. What does the max grade spec mean?
That’s the max gradient the trainer can simulate. It’s tied directly to the trainer’s max wattage number.

Really calls into question your claims of “independence” when there is a giant banner proclaiming this product as now shipping on the front page, above any other content on the site. If that was not enough you sent an email to all your newsletter subscribers to announce that it was shipping. You’d send an email announcing the product 6 days before, so did you really need to send an email about it shipping? This is what makes it feel as though you are a member of the zwift sales and marketing department.
spot on, but not a new news, when was the last time you read something “challenging zwift” here? it’s just the voice of Zwift paid by Zwift for Zwift…
In the reviews there has been a mention that the zwift cog is different than the original one – any idea if the frame works with an original wahoo kickr zwift one – or would a new cog need to be purchased also. This will be relevant once the frame is being sold separately.

Interesting that the Zwift Ride does not include the 1 year Zwift subscription. The KICKR Core still comes with the free year included, but not this?
