February 22nd Routes: 1-2 Punch
This week’s races all feature not just one tough push at the end… but two! Can you handle the 1-2 gut punch?
Note: in an effort to increase B group size and reduce the ability range in the E group, we adjusted the racing score bands this week by reducing the E group from 0-260 to 0-230, shifting the D and C groups down 30 points, and expanding the B group’s range a bit to 510-690.

Race 1: Loch Loop (6.2km, ends at entrance of Corkscrew Castle) Racers know this loop well, but not this finish line. It’s our first 1-2 punch of the day, with back-to-back short climbs! Powerup: Draft Boost (2x) |
Race 2: Richmond UCI Reverse (4km, ends on straightaway after Libby Hill descent) One tough route with two gut-punching climbs. Climbers will get away on the last kicker, but bigger riders may just be able to chase them back! Powerup: Aero Boost (2x) |
Race 3: Volcano Circuit CCW (4.84km, lead-in only, race ends at lap banner) Most of this course is flat, but the finish is one of the most technical in all of Zwift. First you have the longish ramp that saps your legs and encourages early attacks…then there’s still a few hundred meters of twisting, slightly uphill road. Good legs will keep you in contention, but timing will get you the win! Powerup: Feather (1x) |
Race 4: Two Bridges Loop (1 lap – 7.3km) Basically a perfect loop for a Tiny Race, this is going to be made even more fun with the inclusion of the anvil powerup. Remember, the anvil now only makes you heavier on descents, so it’s safe to use at any time! Powerup: Anvil (2x) |
What are the Tiny Races?
Our innovative Tiny Race format features four short back-to-back races within one hour. Each race is usually 4-7km long, so expect a big VO2 workout!
You earn points based on your finishing position in each race. The overall win goes to whoever earns the most points across all four races.

Congrats to PERC Coffee prize winner Ben Lepene, who won the free bag of beans for February 15th’s races. Email [email protected] to claim them!

FRESH TINY VIDS
ZwiftPower Results
Zwift displays the finish order in game when you cross the line, but points are computed after all four races are finished, with final results on ZwiftPower. (We have to do some data processing on our side to compute results, so if your rankings don’t show up right away, be patient.)
Riders earn points based on finish position in each of the 4 Tiny Races. The category winner of each week is the rider with the most points across their zone’s 4 races. Here are the links for each zone’s latest results on ZwiftPower:
Rules
Tiny Race rules are simple, but still every week ~10% of our racers get disqualified. Don’t let that be you! Three simple rules:
- You must have a ZwiftPower account, because final results are processed by ZwiftPower (learn how to sign up)
- No skipping then returning. These races are meant to be raced as a set of 4. If you need to leave early, that’s fine… but once you miss a race in your hour’s set of 4, don’t come back and race another or you’ll be disqualified from that race since you rested while others were racing! (Example: racing only races 1 and 2 is fine. Racing 1, 2, and 4 is not – you will be DQ from race 4.)
- Smart trainer/smart bike or power meter required. ZPower/Virtual power is not allowed.
Join a Chat & Chill Cooldown

Immediately following each hour’s racing we’ve scheduled 30-minute “Chat & Chill” events where riders from all categories can spin their legs together and chat about how it all went down. Find them at zwift.com/events/tag/tinyraces.
Zwift Insider Kit Unlock

Finish any Tiny Race or a Chat & Chill ride and unlock the Zwift Insider “Ride Smarter // Ride Harder” in-game kit.
