Thinkrider X7 Pro (Gen 3) Direct Drive Trainer

The third generation of Thinkrider's X7 line, which is clearly a Chinese knockoff the Wahoo KICKR. Often available on AliExpress for less than $600USD, it's unclear what the actual MSRP is on these units.

High cost performance Better than Flux from THINKRIDER November 4, 2021

Bought it at aliexpress. It's half the price of Wahoo or Garmin. What can you say? It seems Thinkrider X7 has updated to the fourth generation. The picture is an old version. Resistance experience is solved. BTW, they have a free cycling app called Powerfun.

It is clearly a Chinese made rubbish!!! from Steven Chang February 4, 2021

I am a rider from China. It is well known in China that all the data of ThinkRider's products are fake. Their products have poor power accuracy, poor slope simulate ability and bad road feel.
It is definitely not Chinese knockoff the Wahoo Kickr. It is clearly a Chinese made rubbish!!!

All Thinkrider X7s Are Broken On Arrival – Company of Lies – DO NOT BUY from YugnB January 31, 2021

Do not buy this trainer whatever you do. The companys whole batch was broken, They advertised with 20% slope and the units can barely do 8%. Instead of honoring mistake and helping customers, they ignore it, change description of item AFTER sale and say you should have known. After 1 month of shipping, I am left with a trainer that can barely do 8%, what is the point of zwift in that case? Thinkrider say its issue and to just DEAL WITH IT, not their problem, avoid this company at all cost

ThinkRider X7-3 from One January 8, 2021

I’ve been following ThinkRider for over 4 years , I bought one of their 1st trainer which I agree some data problems , but it’s was just sorted out with a update .

This nee X7-3 has some huge improvement and was there top of the range , with nee models coming out.
The customer service I got was amazing by the export manager Kelly .
We analysed the data with TP and W4KO , ThinkRider data falls with in its data range.
Like any smart product a issue can be for due to bugs and firmware updates , I know allow of the below has been fixed with the latest firmware update.

Why note just mail them your issue and they will be solved [email protected]

Absolutely Awesome from PolskiMexican January 6, 2021

Just unpacked it, plugged it up and rode away. I just could not see myself buying anything expensive and this little baby comes in at the right price and does the job very well.

The whole Zwift experience changed immediately when you get on this trainer.

There's no fear what so ever buying this trainer.

Thinkrider X7 great option for a small budget from utaladriz September 22, 2020

Bought this during Covid (March). It's the chinese wahoo kickr. It's easy to set up and use. Seamless integration with Zwift. Very quiet, great feel (oscilate some degrees and when you go out of the saddle it gives you a nice feeling), accurate power and low price.
The worst part is the apps to calibrate and upgrade the firmware. Works relatively fine in IOS, but in some Android cell phones the app doesn't work and in others you must set the language to English, other way you only see chinese characters.
If you don't have a great budget to buy a direct drive trainer and you don't bother to tweak cell phone apps this is the right choice!
