I downloaded the route profile in Oct 2025, so I guess they “pre released” it then…
But which bike is fastest? We need test results 😉
I rode this on the Canondale Lab71 gravel and Tron. Rode Tron for the second lap and still beat the Carbondale by 30 seconds. What you lose on off road is more than made up for by the faster road speed.
But in racing- the advantage of gravel on the steep climbs more than makes up for the few extra watts you need to draft road bikes on the tarmac. Was up 12” on the tarmac – down by a minute at the summit riding road.
