Route Description
This route is essentially the Volcano Flat Reverse loop connected to the Jungle Circuit Reverse. You begin in downtown Watopia, riding out and around the Volcano before climbing the Dirty Sorpressa and heading out through the Fishing Village to the start of the Epic KOM reverse. (You won’t be riding the full Epic KOM, just the start of it.)
This is the first of two key climbs on this route, and it’s definitely the steepest. Hang with the pack up the snaking, steep first section, then hold the wheels on the very draftable slack climb across the bridge and up to the jungle pens. That’s one climb down. One to go!
Next you’ll hop onto the dusty Jungle Circuit Reverse, crossing the rope bridge and descending to the lap banner for the circuit. Your second climb begins quickly enough as you snake up past the Alpe exit and the waving sloth to climb your way out of the Jungle.
The climb continues with a paved section all the way to the Jungle pens, then you can catch your breath as you descend to the Fishing Village and its wind turbines. Almost there!
Head into the Ocean Boulevard tunnels, then climb back out with less than a kilometer to the finish line in downtown Watopia. If you’re racing, it’s time to prep that sprint. All in to the line… go go go!
