Route Description

Route profile by ZwiftHub – the place to plan and track your route achievements!

Events begin at the coastal start pens, or free riders will begin just before the Acropolis Sprint arch. You’ll get a chance to hit the Stoneway Sprint before turning right and heading up the back-to-back KOM road, first hitting Mayan Mountainside KOM followed by Itza KOM.

Next it’s a left turn onto The Grade’s twisty upper reaches. Once you finish this steep bit of climbing… you’re not done! It’s another left onto what remains of the Epic KOM, before descending the Epic KOM’s backside and turning right onto the bypass road. Catch your breath on the long descent and the flat bypass road, because you’ll be turning right to climb up part of the Epic KOM, back to The Grade intersection.

Now it’s time for some high-flying fun, as you whiz down the full length of The Grade. No FTP test in this direction, but you could test your supertucking skills!

Turn right at the bottom in the plaza of Ciudad la Cumbre, then make your way along the southern coast road to the Stoneway Sprint, where your route ends.

Nice route. Zwift’s guide time is less than 60 minutes but that is an underestimation for most people. Also there seems to be a glitch with the KOM jersey at the top of the Grade, as I got it for riding (slowly) back through the arch before heading down to the finish.

Same here, I got the jersey doing exactly the same thing – just a slow “recon” ride … and so did one of my team mates. It’s almost like you get the jersey just for participating!

I just hopped on this and zwift had my rider do a u turn and I start going reverse direction but the lap tracker stays up. I thought I had done this route before but now thinking I did the reverse of it and it didn’t count.
