Route Description

Route profile by ZwiftHub – the place to plan and track your route achievements!

The official route is simply a descent from the giant mythical tree atop the Temple KOM, then a short trip across to the start of the Temple KOM to climb it again.

But we start with a lead-in, since we spawn on the island just before the Fishing Village. Ride over the bridge, through the Village, then turn left onto the dirt and begin your climb. The lead-in ends atop the Temple KOM, so it’s a substantial startup effort!

Total length = Route length + Lead-In. So in this case it’s 9 + 3.3 = 12.3k. Depending on your spawning location it could be 100-200m more.

It is not 9k, it is 12,5k! I don’t why there are several routes with wrong distance information 🙁

The lead in is not part of the route. It is 3.3km extra, in this instance …BEFORE the route begins. So, there is no way to avoid it. 😐

Anyone else run into a bug with this where after the descent on the flat a corner is not taken and you end riding in the sky and off the map?

Yes, I had the same at that point.

Another asinine mixed terrain route. Pick a gravel bike for a race of this route and you have to lay down mega watts just to keep up, and you end up burning yourself out before you get to the dirt where your bike can have an advantage.

@Eric Schlange, do you recommend a gravel bike for races on this course, too? Wondering if a gravel bike can keep up with a bunch of roadbikes descending after a wild start. And once there is a gap, you may never see them again.

I just did it this morning and then some and I didn’t get the badge and it didn’t show in my Zwift Segments. I worked hard at this. So disappointing to not get the badge. I am hoping Zwift and Zwift Segments can correct this. It even counted down my miles to 0 on the banner that shows your route and level progress.
