Route Description

Racers will have to keep their eyes open and legs primed in Glasgow, because it’s never flat. Be especially wary of The Clyde Kicker; it is the route’s main climb, named for the river running through the city and the bridge you can see as you summit the climb.
And watch for that final Champion’s Sprint, where racers will put it all on the line for glory!
If you’re not racing, take some time to look for famous Glasgow sights like the Finnieston Crane, Central Station, Clyde Arc bridge, and an equestrian statue which may or may not be crowned with a traffic cone.

Equestrian statue with traffic cone?? It’s the Duke of Wellington no less 😃
There is a third power-up location in addition to the climb and sprint. Riding clock-wise, after you pass under the Central Station and before heading into the climb, there is an unmarked power-up loaction.
i like the Ridealong Video’s background music
Great page for this one, the video is a great add on.
the video is for Loch Loop???
The ride along video above? Looks like Glasgow Crit Circuit to me!
The video is Glasgow Crit Circuit. However, if you have youtube’s “autoplay” feature turned on, it jumps straight to a circuit of Loch Loop. 😉
Just did Stage 4 | Glasgow Crit Circuit – Sprint Race 3 | Zwift Games on this course. The Clyde Kicker gave me the small bonus 5/5 times. Is this just bad luck, or that what that line dishes out during a race?
Zwift Games events are set up with specific powerups are specific arches. Stage 4 gave a draft powerup at the Champion’s Sprint arch, no powerup at the Clyde Kicker. Hence your small bonus. See https://zwiftinsider.com/games/
Don’t have anything to say, but the website keeps nagging me to make a comment …
I just did some recon on the Glasgow Crit Circuit. Oddly enough, the 1st 4 laps were in a clockwise direction. After that, my direction changed to counterclockwise and stayed there for the duration of the ride. I didn’t do anything but I wanted just to go clockwise. What happened? Is there a glitch of some kind? I didn’t hit the U-turn button. Thanks.
