“Croissant” Route Details (France)
This quick, flat loop is the “shortest” of France’s new routes (those released in April 2025) and covers all the new roads. (Yes, Macaron is shorter – but it’s event-only. And while Ven-10 is actually shorter in length, you’re climbing Ventoux the whole time, so it feels much longer!)

Route Description
Traveling in a clockwise loop, this circuit begins with a 3.1km lead-in from the new Normandy start pens to the Dos d’Âne Sprint Reverse arch (which also serves as the loop’s finish line).
After the lead-in you’ll hit two sprints in quick succession: first Sprint du Cratère, then the slightly downhill Sprinteur Sprint Reverse. Take a right turn onto the “older” France road and you’ll pass the Normandy start pens and retrace your lead-in steps, once again riding beneath the Dos d’Âne Sprint Reverse arch before twisting and climbing your way up to the finish line.
