Many Garmin users (like myself) have an activity history built up in Garmin Connect. Zwift does not currently offer seamless integration with Garmin Connect, but since your Zwift rides are saved in industry-standard .fit files on your computer you can upload your Zwift rides to Garmin quite easily. Here’s how:
- Log into Garmin Connect via your web browser
- Go to your Activities page (Menu>Activities)
- Click “Import” in the upper-right hand corner
- Click “Choose File” and find your ride’s .fit file (on Windows they are in the Document/Zwift/Activities)
- Click on the “Upload activities from file” to finish
Can this be done if you Zwift via Apple TV? Just wondering where the .fit file sits within Zwift?
It’s kind of easy! Just go to your Zwift web browser and go to your specific activity, click “settings” on the right upper corner, download the FIT file. Then go to your Garmin connect Web browser, upload your file as Eric said here. Now you are all set!
I ride Zwift with a Apple TV…how do I get my Zwift rides on to Garmin Connect?
Got an error message saying it dosnt support the files that im trying to upload- strange
Thanks! This post was super helpful, glad to be able to see my Zwift stuff inside the Garmin app on my phone.
Just a web browsing interface suggestion – perhaps make those two URL links above open in a new tab, not existing tab, so users can follow instructions along as they go through the steps :)Dre
It does not work now on 10.03.2023… For some reason Zwift ride did not synchronize to connect as usual so I tried to upload fit file manually, but GC says An error occurred with your upload. Please try again.
In the same boat 🙁
Same here 🙁 Any workarounds? Thanks!
Same here.
Same here – An error occurred. 🙁
Any way to do this with out going to the lap top ? I had Strava bringing data from ride in then synching to garmin. Stopped working when I upgraded garmin
