Route Description

Events on this route begin in the Times Square start pens with a lead-in to the circuit arch which serves as the route’s start/finish line.

After you hit the arch for the first time, you’ll complete a full Times Square Circuit Reverse (which awards an orange jersey to the fastest time on course), then head into the City Hall Station subway.

(This subway, the middle of the three added in Zwit’s NY map expansion, is inspired by the IRL City Hall Station, a decommissioned station located beneath City Hall in Lower Manhattan. Its distinctive brick arches echo back to yesteryear.)

This subway includes 10-second Power Segments in both directions, so anytime you’re here, you’ll get a chance to improve on your 10-second power PB.

Climb out of the subway and you’ll turn right to begin the Brooklyn Bridge KOM. While not particularly steep or long, this is the biggest climb on the route. Finish it, descend the other side of the bridge, then you’ll turn around and head back across the river via the Manhattan Bridge, which includes a short sprint segment with a finish line at the apex of the bridge’s arch.

Now it’s time to head back to the finish at Times Square. You’ll descend back to the City Hall Station subway, ride through another 10-second Power Segment, then climb out and onto the glass roads of the Times Square Circuit for what’s almost another full lap of the reverse circuit. Nice work!
