Zwift has rolled out a fresh Mission for April, and it’s all about going the distance.
Note: signups opened today, but the Mission doesn’t begin until March 31.
Getting Started
To begin the Mission, select the mission card on your homescreen and click to register:

Once you’ve registered, clicking the mission card will show your Mission progress.
Completing the Mission
To complete the mission and earn the achievement badge, register for the mission then ride at least 100 miles (161 km) between March 31-April 30.
Many riders will find this challenge easy since every ride on Zwift counts toward completion. So why not make it tougher and attempt the full 100 miles in one Zwift activity? Do it and you’ll unlock the coveted black century kit:

Can they make these missions any easier?
Yeah, kinda seems like a participation trophy compared to the old days when you’d select one of the three missions that would take months to accomplish but pair with sweet rewards (ex. Tron bike). Maybe “mission” is so diluted now that those larger effort things need to be relabeled as “quests” (and give us a few more?)
It would be awesome if they would scale the missions and propose a commitment appropriate to the rider’s history. 5km per day is absurd for many.
They have that, its called the century jersey.
I guess I need to ride the PRL, get three badges for the price of one (really bad day on the bike).
I really think they ought to give a different Jersey for this mission. The century Jersey should simply be for riding a century in one sitting if you will. It does seem like a participation trophy.
I don’t think riders will get the Century Jersey just by completing the Mission, Eric (and I) are talking about the challenge of getting the 100 Mission Badge and Century Jersey in a single ride, and since I am still missing the PRL, I could do the PRL to get the Mission, and Jersey at the same time.
Yeah, there’s no jersey for this mission. Sorry if I confused folks…
I did the PRL Full three years ago to complete the Rapha 500, get the route badge and the points. I don’t think they had the Century Kit back then, unfortunately. I can attest to how hard that route is. It was an ugly 6 hours. I would never do it again. And it’s ELEVEN times up Box Hill, not ten. The guy organizing it got it wrong and we still give him grief about it to this day…
Century Kit was definitely around 3 years ago. It’s been there since early days.
I got mine Jan 1st, 2020, so over 4 years ago 🙂
LAME. The century jersey should be for 100 miles in a single ride. Now everyone is going to have one.
The Century kit IS for 100 miles in one ride. Nothing’s changed.
Could be different routes or must be the same route over and over ?
(In the same ride).
If you’re trying to do 100 miles in one ride to get the Century jersey, it has to be in one activity (one fit file). So you couldn’t pop out and pick a different route and do it…

To anyone just who skimmed the article, you still have to ride 160k / 100 miles in one event to get the Century jersey.
You will only receive a badge upon successful completion of this challenge. Yes, it is like a participation ribbon, but a lot of people have been asking for one. If it was any harder an unbelievable amount of people would have a problem with it.
Two month newbie to Zwift. Any recommended routes to do the full century? A suppose a starter route then then just keep riding?
Depends on what you’re going for. A challenging route with lots of variety? The easiest possible century?
Lots of folks wait for a week when a RoboPacer of their speed is on a flatter route, then do it that way. Tick Tock and Tempus Fugit, for instance, are great flat routes. See schedule at https://zwiftinsider.com/robopacer-schedule/
See master route list, which you can sort by distance: http://zwiftinsider.com/routes
on the description it says any ride counts towards completion. But I started with 16km on the progress bar, rode 30km and stit stays at 16km. Am I missing anything? I normally don’t save my activities could that be the reason why?
Not sure what to tell you, other than to contact Zwift support and ask.
What time do the challenges end? I thought I had until 9 pm or midnight my time April 30. Came home from work to wrap up the last 20 miles and the counter/box was gone. Rode the 20 and no credit, even though it was still April 30th. Kind of a bummer.
Should be based on your local time, but who knows. Maybe ask Zwift support why it worked that way? And report back here!
Per Zwift the mission ended at 23:59 UTC, which is 8 hours ahead of me. I wont wait until the last minute to finish the task in the future.
Interesting, so it’s not based on local time. Noted!
