This segment exactly matches the Lutece Express route in Paris, starting and ending at the lap arch and traveling the circuit clockwise.
Soon after the lap begins, the road will take you around Jardin des Tuileries. Watch the backstretch here – the road dips into a parking garage and ramps quickly out. After a bit of flat road, you’ll feel the resistance ramp up as you begin climbing Montée des Champs Elysées, the 1.3km rise up to the Arc de Triomphe. Loop around the Arc de Triomphe to descend Avenue des Champs-Élysées, taking on the downhill sprint (a leaderboard segment within a leaderboard segment) if you’d like.
