Route Description
We begin with a 2.8km lead-in from the Glasgow start pens to the Loch Loop lap banner. This lead-in is flat while in Glasgow, but turns into a slack climb as we ride up past The Cliffs to the banner.
From the lap banner, we’ll complete one loop of the Highlands. This begins with a descent to the Corkscrew Castle climb, which takes us up then down to the start of the Breakaway Brae Reverse.
Descending from the Brae, we’ll loop around to the mystical roundabout, then come back up the slack climb along The Cliffs, to the lap arch once again. The arch serves as the finish line for the route.
