Route Description
Events begin with a long lead-in from the Prospect Park start pens. You’ll turn left out of the pens to quickly exit the park, then ride around Grand Army Plaza and descend Flatbush Avenue to enter the Brooklyn Subway section.
Give the 5-second Power Segment near the end of the subway a go, then climb out and head up the corkscrew road to the Manhattan Bridge. Your lead-in ends over the East River, at the green arch at the Manhattan Bridge’s midpoint. This is also your route finish line.
From the start/finish arch you’ll descend the other side of the Manhattan Bridge, turn around in Manhattan, and begin the Brooklyn Bridge KOM. This KOM ends at the midpoint of the Brooklyn Bridge as you cross the river once more into Brooklyn.
Descend the other side of the bridge, then turn around and hit the corkscrew road once more to make your way across the Manhattan Bridge. Go all-in for the sprint… then go for another lap. Why not?
