Editor’s note (Dec 26, 2022): the method described in this post no longer works. Our hunch is that Zwift is now storing your power PBs on their servers, so deleting them from your device has no effect.
Your personal best power numbers for 5 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, and 20 minutes are stored in Zwift and can be viewed from the menu screen while in game. Occasionally, riders want to reset these numbers for any number of reasons:
- A temporary calibration problem which bumps their power up incorrectly
- A new smart trainer or power meter which reads lower/more accurately than a previous setup
- A friend who “borrows” their Zwift account and puts out higher power numbers
- Recovering from injury and wanting to show current power levels instead of old PBs
Whatever your reason, we’re here to help. Here’s a quick video explaining how to reset the personal best power numbers in Zwift:
why isn’t Zwift displaying my “your best” 5 seconds and 1 minute wattages?
I am having almost the same issue. My 5s wattage isn’t showing.
my Numbers keep resetting and I don’t want them to I keep loosing my data?
Can you DQ yourself from a single ride?
How can one Reset the total km
i would prefer to measur km per season
My personal best numbers seem to sometimes randomly reset themselves to previous values (usually a few days after achieving new PBs), which is a bit demoralising.
I have used the same setup (PC/Trainer) for years, only installed the usual regular updates (no full reinstall). Likewise, Zwift seems to suddenly “forget” my progress on a training plan and having me re-roll, which is a bit of a pain as well but that’s obviously not related to PBs
Thanks for the Editor’s note update on the resetting of power numbers. Been trying to do so for the past week to no avail. Please advise if you hear anything further- Thanks!!!
Y yo intentandolo una y otra vez
The Editor’s Note needs to be in BOLD font, to make it stand out more.
I have power figures from a previous wheel on mag drive trainer that was giving nonsense power numbers. After I got a Kickr Core I deleted the CP file to make sure the data was realistic. Now the old data has come back and is complete nonsense. It would be great if Zwift would give us back a mechanism to fix this
