Time Estimates
First used in stage 7 of the 2012 Tour de France, this climb proved popular and has been used several times since. It also featured as the finish of the final stage in the 2022 Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift.
Named for the ski station at its summit, the “super” version of this climb adds an unpaved, brutally steep finishing ramp to the already difficult climb. It was first used in the Tour de France in 2019 and lengthens the ride by ~1 kilometer while adding ~100 meters of climbing.
Here’s the IRL segment, which is a bit shorter than Zwift’s:
Looking forward to this one!
did it ever happen yet?
no, and not part of the January 2024 portal schedule. Patience…=)
guess not feb either. waiting.
Nor March nor April please let it be May 🙏
Hi !
Could you add, in same vein, the “Muro di Sormano” ?
as I’m really looking forward to climbing it in 2024, for real in GF. Actually, “Colma di Sormano” including the wall…
Thank you in advance, it would be really appreciated !
The last of the original ones I need. I guess I’ll have to wait a little longer and knock out Willunga in the meantime.
two riders have hacked it recently.
I’m waiting for this as well it never comes up I’ve never seen it.
HOW, HOW, HOW do I access this climb? I’ve looked for about 5 months, and I’ve never seen La Super Planches des Belles Fille scheduled. Is it part of a special event?
Hasn’t been scheduled/available yet. My guess is it’ll be used when this climb is raced in a a big IRL event (TdF or similar).
Will be fun riding this one b2b at 100%, 75% & 50%.
So sad that zwift doesn’t reproduce the real segment. Not as steep as the real one (as Seen in the graph) and not the same distance too ….
Yes I am confused by this too, I thought Zwift used GPS data to replicate the climbs, but these are quite big discrepancies. Do we actually how they build the climbs on the portal?
They DO use GPS data. I talked to them a back about why gradients don’t always match and they talked about how maps get distorted when moved from one part of the world to another as at least one issue they deal with.
I’m not entirely sure why they’re so different, though. Seems odd.
I already ride the original one with 24% at the finish. At Zwift the grade is only 16%. I think at least 20% is possible with all hometrainers. It‘s a shame that this climb is so different to the original 😕
Could it be because the max simulated grade of the Wahoo Kickr Core / Zwift Ride combo is 16%?
Rode it this morning and saw that the current KOM when I started was 15 minutes! Dude (or Dudette) was 4.5 minutes faster than Pogacar! There really are some watt monsters riding around Watopia!
