“Alto de Patios” Details (Zwift Climb Portal)

Key Details

Located on the outskirts of Bogotá, Colombia, this climb was the most popular Strava cycling segment in the world in 2025, seeing over 102 new faces per day that year!

Why so popular? Well, it’s accessible, just a few kilometers from Bogotá’s city center. And its length and gradient make it both challenging yet doable for most cyclists.

But according to one cycling travel guide, what really makes it special is its atmosphere. “On any given morning, you’ll find cyclists of all ages and skill levels tackling this route. The camaraderie is infectious, and the roadside vendors selling fresh fruit and Colombian coffee add to the charm.”

On top of all this, Patios connects to popular routes to places like Guasca and La Calera, so riders often include this climb when planning much longer rides.

Here’s that famous Strava segment:

Oh sweet! The addition of food vendors and coffee breaks to the climb portal 😀

But seriously, this looks like a fun addition to the list. Looks like a pretty consistent gradient but with enough corners to prevent it from feeling like an endless drag.
